inspired by banana splits *and the cherry on top*

happy friday lovelies!  i know i know a banana split may be a weird thing to be inspired by, but they are so colorful and beautiful.  i can't help but smile when i see them.

matthew and  i are working as you know on our business plan for scarlet & cream (our retro ice cream float trailer) and thought it would be fun to incorporate some tasty snacks as well.  we love the idea of a banana split, but want to mix it up and make it our own.  i found these ideas on pinterest...which one is your favorite.  all i know is as long as it has a cherry on top i'll be happy ;)  XO lindsay

    how fantastic you're working on a business together...and a retro ice-cream float trailer nonetheless!! :)

    i LOVE the little chocolate dipped banana bites toped with whipped cream and a cherry :) ...you could do white or dark chocolate too...yum.
    And the triple layer cake at the top is genius! maybe the top and bottom layer is a banana cake, then the middle is funfetti :)

    Those all look delish! But if I had to pick a favorite, I would pick the cake and the small cupcakes (top of the two smaller pictures on the right). Both look like very yummy variations of a banana split.
