have any of you gotten a chance to really listen to the lyrics in this song firework by katy perry? i was browsing youtube and stopped by one of my favorite artists kina grannis and instantly fell in love with her cover of this song. she inspired me to pick up my beautiful guitar ivy (who has sadly been neglected these last few weeks) and learn it myself.
i obviously had heard this song on the radio, but learning it last night really made me focus on the message...and it is a really good one! here is the kina grannis video. if you have a heart for awesome covers, a beautiful voice and lovely acoustic guitars i highly reccomend you listen. maybe one day soon i will have enough courage to post a cover or two of my own...please note i said maybe :)
