kitchen tour

good morning lovelies!  i thought it would be fun to do something a little different today and take you on a little tour of my favorite things that we use in our kitchen.  all of these pretty little things were gifts that we received for our wedding (almost a year ago i can't believe it!)

everything in these photos with exception to the napkins from india, is from anthropologie!  after our wedding matthew and i decided to only purchase things that we absolutely love to fill our home with.  so far we're doing great....we're still in the "remodeling" stage so i'll be sure to share more pictures as we finish up some projects!

hope you all have a beautiful day!  the sun is shining brightly in my corner of the world and i have a lunch date with a new blog friend...doesn't get any better :) xo, lindsay

  1. Oh, what pretty things!! i love all the colors and patterns! When we moved into our house two years ago, we made the same agreement to only buy things we truly loved. It just makes your space that much more special! Great post, look forward to seeing more!

  4. Gosh those are beautiful! Very colorful and different (I've rarely seen measuring cups like that. Just bowls with pre-measured ingredients on cooking shows).

My mom collects salt and pepper shakers. She has all kinds, so the ones you have would look great in her collection!

  15. i was so sad when we were looking at wedding registries that anthropologie doesn't have rgeistries for canadian residents. it was pretty much the only site i really wanted to sign up for! i love these things but i loved the white ceremic ones the best and i'm sad they are not currently sitting in my kitchen cupboards...

  16. I simply love the kosmos influence in a kitchen. I recently came across a great shot of kitchen tiles that resemble your indian napkins slightly and I instantly fell in love. All your items are great. Perhaps you should visit the Greek islands, the folk art and the cutlery/pottery will make you ecstatic !!!
