around our home - the small details









i know it's not much, but i thought i would take a few shots of the fun details that we currently have displayed in our home.  we are in the process of painting all of the rooms and have very little on our walls...actually we have very little decoration anywhere...so not me :) but we're saving some money and plan to go antique shopping soon and hope to come across some unique finds!

we were also gifted several pieces of antique furniture that we plan to reupholster and refurbish...i'll definitely share that process with you...don't you love before and after shots?  i'm especially excited about an antique radio/record player that our good friend is going to give to us...it's gorgeous and we already have a spot picked out for it!

    What darling details and I am simply loving that zebra print...I do see the penguin...how cute!!! My mother has an all black and white room for her home office...nothing, but black in white in it and this would be so perfect!
