in her shoes - a feature with the smith circle

hello again lovelies! happy wednesday :) i hope your day has started out beautifully!  i have 2 new in her shoes features to share with you today!  first i bring you the lovely diana of the smith circle - here is a look at life in her shoes!

what motivates you to get your day started?

I have a hard time getting my day started, I will admit. I am someone who needs at least 8 hours of sleep in order to function. When I first hear my little girl crying out to see if someone is there so she can be fed, its a bittersweet feeling. I want to get up and go cuddle her, but it's nice to get a few more minutes of shut eye.

what part of your day do you most look forward to and why?
My favorite part of the day is when Olivia goes down for her first nap. This is usually between 9-10. She sleeps for about 2 hours and its nice to get some things done. My other favorite part of the day is when my husband comes home. Knowing I don't have to do it all alone is such a nice feeling.

what do you like most about where you live?

I love Utah. Its a very beautiful place because we have gorgeous mountains and beautiful lakes. I am not a fan of the snow, but its beautiful to see the mountains covered in white. Also, my family lives 5 mins away so I always love to go and see them.

what part of your day is the most difficult and what do you do to overcome that?

The most difficult part is when my baby girl is fussy and there is laundry and dishes that need to be done. Everyone tells you to just put those off and spend time with your child, but I don't know what it is that stresses me out about that. I try and get all of this done the night before when she is asleep so that I won't have to worry about it the next day.

what do you love most about yourself today?

What I love most about myself is being a mom. I love being able to watch something that came from me develop and grow. Its so gratifying to see her start to understand how simple things work and how she reacts. I can only imagine how much more exciting it will get when she walks, talks all that fun stuff.
