an old picture always makes me smile

i was looking through some pictures in iphoto this evening and i came across this slightly old snapshot that was taken of us while we were visiting my dad in minneapolis the winter of 2006.  this was the first holiday season we shared with each other as a couple.  i look at this and can't even believe that this was that long ago...time flies by so quickly! 

here i am 4 years later getting ready to celebrate my first christmas with matthew as newlyweds!   at the end of the day all i can do is smile and be thankful for how lucky i am to share my life with this amazing human being.  i gave him my heart and now he has it forever...there is no where else i would want it to be.
