brush strokes
there is something so meditative and inspiring about a painting. every brush stroke tells a story...a story that is different for every person. i love getting lost in it, wondering what the artist was feeling as they were working on their piece, don't you?
i hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend! it is officially football season in lincoln, nebraska :) XO, lindsay

ReplyDeleteDegas dancers...swoon!
ReplyDeleteFabulous paintings. Either I've seen a couple of these before in art classes or I've seen similar ones. Because a couple of them look familiar to me.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

I love all the color in these paintings! & you are right, I do wonder what they were thinking!
ReplyDeleteIt is such an odd feeling to be connected to someone else across time. To know that their hands touched it, created it, etc. It gives me chills to know that no matter what, we are all connected!
I remember the first time I saw cave paintings where the people made their hand prints. When I saw this I thought 'hey, I have a hand too' and it instantly connected me to every living being past & present. We are a lot alike!
I did enjoy my labor day! I hope you did too!
Are all those yours? That looks like my WALLS! I can't tell you how comforting it is to have others with similar likes and interests! Love the post!
