an unexpected guest

my mister went on a five day bike ride and was not supposed to be home until later this evening.  i was surprised when he and his pops came home on friday!  due to flooding in iowa and nebraska they had to cut their trip short.

we celebrated matthew's 26th birthday yesterday and today we're going to go on a bike ride and grill out some food!  here's a few pictures from our weekend downtown...

    The flooding is getting so bad : / I don't think some people realize how bad it could get!!

    Love the red building :) And I'm glad they made it safely home! When my sister and I went on a road trip to Tennessee back in April/May, it was crazy seeing how much flooding was going on!
