an indian feast and coconut ice cream

it was such a lovely evening last night, matthew and i decided to head downtown and go to our favorite indian restaurant, the oven.  their food is so amazing! after dinner we went to the little ice cream shoppe around the corner...it's where we had our very first date :)

ivanna cone makes everything handmade, from the ice cream to the waffle cones.  they change out their flavors weekly to keep things unique.  matthew got cookies and cream and i chose the coconut custard pie with a waffle cone.  honestly, this was the best ice cream flavor i have EVER had...i wish they had it every week.  there were large pieces of coconut of course, but also graham cracker pie crust...ahh i die!

matthew is a little camera shy....i snuck a quick shot though without him noticing :)

yesterday was especially fabulous because i got to meet a blogger friend, chandra in person (she is scenic glory's newest sponsor for may, i'll be sharing everything about her soon!!) AND the weather was absolutely amazing so i got to wear my newest vintage dress...more what i wore pictures coming up later today!

getting ready to go to the park with my bestie from warm bouquet and her kiddos...hope you all have a fabulous day as well! XO, lindsay

  7. Ivanna Cone is so unique and amazing!! I've had the coconut before and it was yummy. My most fave dessert moments(Ivanna and otherwise)however, almost always include chocolate & raspberries in some shape or form... they are lovers you know. (kind of like Italian food & red wine!)
Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures, you two are absolutely adorable.
