the first look. i'll never forget it. originally matthew and i didn't want to see each other until the ceremony, but we realized a couple of things. one, that would probably be really overwhelming, two, we wanted time to capture beautiful pictures without feeling rushed, and most importantly we wanted the first time we saw each other to be really special and intimate.
walking down that hallway was one of the most exciting and emotional moments of that day. my heels echoed as i stepped in his direction. he faced away from me the entire time until i tapped on his shoulder :) the last picture above is one of my favorites. such happiness :) you may remember that book above from part l of our wedding story, the morning. that is the ring bearer book. i carried that instead of my bouquet because my flowers weren't ready yet....but actually i think it worked out perfectly!
after we had our first look moment, we took a few more formal pictures throughout the building.
i can't wait to share our wedding party pictures next...so fun and journalistic. isn't that car amazing? my bestie beth, who was one of my bridesmaids (she is also a blogger of two fab places warm bouquet and from the fitting room) called a friend of hers that morning and he was so nice to allow us to take pictures with this beauty...more of those up next!
have a wonderful evening lovelies! XO, lindsay
