the what would journal project

what it is:

the concept is simple...what would you like to share today? 

do you have a story, a drawing or a photograph you would like to show us?  add whatever you would like to the journal and it will be shared with everyone (anonymously or publicly).

i purchased 8 mini journals like the ones pictured below...aren't they pretty?!?

how it works:

- a journal will be distributed to the individuals that wish to participate

- each participant will have a week to include anything they want in the journal

- the participant will then  be asked to mail the journal back to me. i will scan the images and update the what would journal project blog (coming soon) with all of the entries.  if you wish to remain anonymous that is fine, otherwise i will link back to your blog or website if you have one!

- i will mail the journal to the next person on the list and the rotation will start all over again.

if you are an international resident don't worry you can participate too!

the requirements

- if you wish to participate you must  be willing to mail the journal provided back to me. 

- when you receive the journal, please send it back within a weeks time.  we want to be sure that everyone has the opportunity to participate!

- let me know if you want your journal entries to be anonymous.  if you would like them to be public reference the web address you would like me to link to.

- have fun with it!  you can include whatever you want as long as it fits inside the journal.

- let others write in it and share their creativity!  if you have friends or family members (yes kids too!) that you think would like to contribute something while you have the journal for the week go ahead and let them.

- i want you to be able to express yourself as much as you want in the journal, but please be considerate of how many pages you use.  i wish i could buy 100 journals for this project off the bat, but unfortunately my pockets aren't that deep :)

what if i don't want to wait for a journal

no worries...you can still get involved with the project.

- if you would like to donate a journal to the project, feel free to contribute your entries first and then send the journal to me.  i will then add this extra journal to the rotation.

-if you have a journal of your own that you would like to keep, but you want to send your entries you can do one of two things. 

• take pictures of your entries and email them to me so they can be added to the blog
• scan the pages from your entries and email them to me so they can be added to the blog
