These pictures are so whimsy! And I just read your "In her shoes" and I love it! Both of those girls are spectacular bloggers and so deserving! I hope all is well. I dropped your letter in the mail today! It's probably a lot of giberish and you may not be able to read my handwriting, oh and open the envelope easily, you'll see why! I hope you're doing well darling, and by the looks of it, I'm guessing you are! All is well on my side of the computer screen! Love to you!
thank goodness for photos, journals, letters, and even blogs to help us record sweet moments we don't want to forget! :) The top photo made my heart skip a beat...such a stunning photo that made me think of my 2 younger sisters.
TRUTH: I didn't let my children play ring around the rosie, because what it means, but he learned it from his Aunt and he loves it and now has taught stone to play it.
- It's about the black plague and the rings are the symptoms. When they die they have to be burned, thus ashes... I know I'm weird and probably ruined your day. Sorry.
I used to play ring around the rosie. Of course, I didn't know what it mean, but when i grew up, (being a history minor) I was ecstatic to find out that something so medieval (literaly) has survived so long in the minds of children. It's kind of neat when you think of it that way.
