in her shoes - a feature with lil mrs. housewife

hello again friends.  as promised i am bringing you another in her shoes feature from the lovely lynzi of lil mrs housewife - thank you so much for sharing your shoes with us lovely lady!

what motivates you to get your day started?
having a plan and something to look forward to. whether it's meeting a friend for lunch, going to class, or going to the grocery store. i'm not a home-body. once i'm ready in the morning, i'm out the door. even if i'm ready early.

what part of your day do you most look forward to and why?
i'd have to say being in class, learning, is my favorite part of the day. i love school. and i love to learn. ever since my first day of kindergarten, the first day of school was always my favorite. the holiday breaks bore me because they don't offer ways for me to learn and grow.

this was one of mine and my husband's engagement pictures...we went back to our old high school to have the pictures done. that's where we met. for me, being in the halls of the building where i used to learn was very energizing and just an overall awesome feeling. - Photo Credit: Image captured by SB Image Studios

what do you like most about where you live?

this is such a funny question because i used to hate where i live. when i first moved out, i moved across this bridge, literally. our apartment was on the lake. then when our lease was up, we moved back and LOVE it and have no plans of leaving at all. i think what i like most is that our little town is convenient. daily, we live small town lives. but occasionally when we need to travel to town, it only takes 10 minutes and you are literally in a different town with entirely different demographics and a different atmosphere completely (i'm an exception to this, because like i said, i don't sit around so i travel to neighboring towns quite often).

what part of your day is the most difficult and what do you do to overcome that?
getting up in the morning is def. the most difficult. especially if i don't have anything to do. this little guy doesn't make it any easier. he's a big snuggle bug and would stay in bed all day if i'd stay with him...and often times, i'll find him in bed without me!

to overcome the morning, i have to have a plan. if it's having my grocery list made so i can hit the store early or have my things ready to head to school. otherwise, i sleep way too late because cleaning is not something i'm motivated to get up for at all.

what do you love most about yourself today?
today, i love my motivation. and how driven and determined i am. i'm so excited for school to start. i'm getting so impatient and anxious as i still have 2 weeks till the first day! over the last few years, i've forgotten this part of me since i was working full time and struggling in my night classes. now, since being out of work, it will be my first semester back in day classes and i know it's just what i need to keep me motivated and be productive on a daily basis. i've even enrolled in some small workshops to hold me over till school start!
