enjoying the ride

matthew and i just had lunch together....he brought home panera since i'm still under the weather :)
we were discussing how we couldn't believe that our 5 year (dating) anniversary is just next week.  where has the time gone?

so many say time flies...and we all know it's true.  each day i wake up knowing that today will soon be yesterday.  i have learned to cherish every moment, have fun creating memories and most importantly, enjoy this ride that i am on.  soon all of this will be a day in the past, but i can accept this knowing that i did everything i could to enjoy the journey.

when matthew and i can look back together at this beautiful life we created with each other, i will be happy, i will be content and i will be encouraging my children to do the same.

take the time to enjoy the ride of your life...you'll thank yourself later :)

  23. Our 5 year dating anniversary is in March. We talk about how weird it is all the time. It feels like we just got together! It's so important to live each day to the fullest but so hard to do sometimes, especially with school and work. I'm glad you two are still so happy! Hope you feel better very soon! Yay for him bringing you food!
