the unity tree

in our backyard a small little tree is growing slowly but surely.  its roots are just starting to sneak their way through the soil.  as the years pass matthew and i will be able to look out our back window at this beautiful tree of ours and remember the promises we made to each other that special day.

like this tree we will age.  we will grow stronger and more sturdy.  we may experience a storm or two, but regardless, we will be rooted into the ground and stay strong forever and always.

one day our children will play around this tree of ours...lay under it for shade, swing from it's branches and climb up the trunk.  for them, it will be their dreaming tree...for us it will forever and always be our unity tree.

  11. What a cute idea! Beau and I painted a unity heart, he painted one half and I painted the other. But, since it rained all day it basically all washed away. It's definitely unique! haha

Love the tree idea a lot!!
